How To Make Butter Coffee

Bulletproof coffee is a hot topic right now. And for good reason – it’s delicious and can be a great way to boost up fat-burning (IF you do it correctly).

When you wake up in the morning, your body is in a fasted-state (depending on what time you consumed your last meal). To promote fat burning, we want to stay in this fasted state for as long as we can. But this can be very difficult when your stomach is growling and you start to feel light headed and shaky.

And here is where butter coffee comes to the rescue!

Having a high-fat beverage with MCT oil instead of breakfast, can keep your body in fat-burning mode, without feeling like you’re going to pass out and start convulsing.

Never heard of butter coffee and have no clue how to make it?

Good thing I made a demo video just for you 😉

Ingredients:

2 cups brewed coffee

1 tbsp MCT oil (work up to this amount)

1 tbsp grass-fed organic butter (I used Kiwi pure, available at Superstore, Amaranth, Community Natural Foods)

Optional:

1 scoop collagen protein powder

pinch of cinnamon

1 tsp organic vanilla extract

1 tsp Maca Powder (I used Organic Traditions)

Directions:

Place all ingredients in your blender and blend for ~5-10 seconds 🙂
