Green tea has a ton of health benefits, and also contains caffeine if you’re looking for a boost. The magical ingredient in green tea is called EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate). EGCGs moderates the effects of the caffeine, so you don’t get a big boost and then crash like you may experience with coffee. EGCGs are also one of the very few nutrients that actually has research to support it as a fat loss aid!
L-theanine is another superstar nutrient found in green tea. This guy is all about brain support – helping with focus, memory and attention. Who doesn’t want more of that???
You can supplement EGCGs and L-theanine…but why would you do that when you can get a hefty dose of both by drinking this AMAZNINGLY DELICIOUS match green tea latte?
1/2 tsp Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder
1/2 scoop (20g) PurePaleo Vanilla Protein Powder
1 tsp Vanilla extract or vanilla powder
400mL hot water
Add all ingredients to a blender (ideally a glass blender), blend, pour and enjoy 🙂
